A New Year begins.

Books

Books recently read:
- [ Comic ] Beast Complex By Paru Itagaki : Re-watched the Beastars anime recently and decided to give the author’s comics a look. Exploring the morality of meat consumption and inter-species relationships in a world of anthropomorphic animal characters is something I have seen many times before ( and have yet to see it explored in a unique, interesting way... ) but Paru Itegaki’s characters are intriguing enough to keep me interested in the world she has created. Beast Complex is a collection of stories taking place in the same world as Beastars.

- [ Comic ] Beastars By Paru Itagaki : Giving the original manga a look after re-watching the anime.

- [ Comic ] House of Five Leaves by Natsume Ono : Haven’t read this manga in many years so reading it again. I really enjoy the visual style of the artwork.

Games

Video games recently played:
- [ 3DS ] Animal Crossing New Leaf : Haven’t played this one in years, so started a new town.

- [ PC ] Hytale : Trying out the new block game, it’s fine.

- [ PC ] Vintage Story : Playing the new block game made me want to play some Vintage Story. Started two new modded saves: passive game because I just want to hang out with the silly rust creatures and a regular hostile mode save, playing as a skeleton in both saves.





Moving Pictures

Things that I have watched recently:
- [ TV ] Beastars : Watched this awhile ago and decided to re-watch it.

Artwork

Not much to talk about in regards to artwork this month. Kinda thinking about making more comics besides Teratoma...maybe something about Damian and Segun or Moe and Clyde from my [ Guys setting. ] Kinda would like to make comics with the alternate versions of [ Mildew and Waxworm ] as well.

Haven’t made much progress on Salamander Isles this month, I have been busy with other projects. Did figure out what I want the fourth island to be though: a swamp island. Need to create concepts and models for the flora before I can get started on it.
