The powder orange isopods have been busy, soooo many little baby isopods crawling around.

Games

Video games recently played:
- [ PC ] Look Outside : I am very picky with horror, especially body-horror. It took me awhile to give this game a chance, as I was very unsure. Anyways, the game is overall refreshing, probably one of the best horror games released in the past 10 years. I enjoy that many of the characters that experience transformations aren’t instantly evil, that they still remain somewhat themselves, or learn to adapt to their new selves, and of course there are some who get lost in the new forms, and some who may have already been terrible, simply taking advantage of their new abilities. It reminds me of Parasite Eve a bit, but you can befriend some of the transformed people you encounter or help them sort out their new situation. I like that.

- [ PC ] ROUTINE : Been wanting to play Alien Isolation again, and recently heard about this game, so decided to give it a try. Gameplay is a bit meh ( just lots of clicking around terminal GUIs, with very little interaction with the actual environment of the game ) but the art direction is very nice. Was kind of disappointed that the monster in this game is yet-another-bald-guy, but he is so silly that I got over it.

Moving Pictures

Things that I have watched recently:
- [ Film ] GOAT : This is such a lovely film, really enjoyed it. Easily the best animated film I have seen in a long time.

- [ Film ] Freaked : A very obnoxiously 90s film, but the make-up and practical effects are fun.

Artwork

Was not originally planning to do Art Fight this year, but I got bored and tired of the things I am working on and decided to make a few artworks for it this year just to have something a bit different to work on.
